In recent months, we have had the opportunity to explore a topic that is central to us: ergonomics applied to tightening systems.

We did so through two different discussion events, both sharing a key element: the active participation and genuine interest of all stakeholders involved in a topic that is becoming increasingly relevant in the industrial manufacturing sector.

The first event took place at FIAM on October 17, in a multidisciplinary setting with direct dialogue among industry professionals: Reaction arms and operator well-being | Fiamgroup

The second, on May 28, featured Nicola Bacchetta as a speaker at Allmag, alongside companies, academia, and experts, once again confirming how ergonomics is now a cross-cutting and strategic topic.

A shared and tangible interest

In both occasions, one aspect clearly emerged: ergonomics is no longer a secondary topic, but a concrete lever to improve work in industrial environments.

The discussions highlighted how designing with careful attention to ergonomic aspects means:

• improving operator well-being and safety
• optimizing production processes
• increasing efficiency and quality of results

In the specific case of industrial tightening, this approach translates into a balance between operators, tools, and processes, where each element contributes to overall performance.

These events represented an important moment not only for sharing insights, but also for consolidating an increasingly tangible vision of the topic.

Today, our goal remains to spread the culture of ergonomics in tightening as widely as possible, always maintaining a practical approach based on real applications and operational solutions.
