FOR AIR AND ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVERS AND NUTRUNNER MOTORS OF FIAM
Functional for screw suction systems to make tightening cycles faster and therefore more productive thanks to manual or automatic Pick and Place operations.
Screw suction head can be fitted on all air and electric Fiam straight screwdrivers and nutrunner motors and makes screws picking and positioning on the component easy and effective.
The head, designed and manufactured by Fiam, is applied to the tool using the specific connection kit and is to be connected to the SSU vacuum pump using the supplied hose.
The head is equipped with a particular NOZZLE that can be standard or customized according to the screws or the piece to be assembled, to be sent to Fiam as champion. Even bits are evaluated and proposed based on the type of screws.
FEATURES
- For Fiam air and electric screwdrivers and nutrunner motors
- For screws with the following geometries:
- MIN. HEAD Ø: 1.4 mm
- MAX. HEAD Ø: 13 mm
- For screws having a length higher than 18 mm or used with automatic screw presenters, contact the Fiam Technical Advice Service
- Equipped with hose to connect to the vacuum pump: SSU (for manual pick&places) or SSU-E (for automatic pick&place)
- Connection KIT for eTensil screwdrivers: cod. 681041036
- Connection KIT for eTensil nutrunner motors: cod. 681041038
TYPE OF NOZZLE
STANDARD:
- For tightening applications on surfaces or without particular space restrictions
- Brass nozzle, dimensions L=20mm — and Ø=15m
- For bits L=75 mm
- Nozzle customisation is limited to its tip size, based on the screw head size.
CUSTOMIZED :
- For tightening applications with space restrictions and/or other specific conditions
- Nozzle made of custom material for screws with special dimensions
- For special bits
- Customisation extends from all nozzle dimensions to the bit to be used.
APPLICATIONS
The Pick & Place systems represent an innovative solution to simplify and make assembly operations fluid and continuous by eliminating the manual screws gripping and positioning.
Greatest ergonomics: in this way the operator does not have to retrieve screws with his hands but sucks them directly with the screwdriver for example from a simple grid where are pre-arranged, or from a screw presenter and can perform operations with minimal physical effort, using only one hand and preventing the risk of finger fatigue.
