MONITORING UNIT – Tightening Operation Monitor
TOM monitoring unit, operators are advised of errors and warned when the cycle ends; and with the “screw count” feature, forgetting screws is no longer a danger. It can also stop the work cycle if an error is detected.
It is a poka-yoke device compatible with all Fiam screwdrivers with air shut-off and double pneumatic signal pickup, with eTensil screwdrivers with mechanical clutch and with CA automatic handheld screwdrivers.
In addition, to assist the production cycle even further, it can be connected to systems for pick and place, to devices for halting the line or the individual assembly stage, or to the system for changing components. So many opportunities but a single objective: to remove any chance of error and therefore wasted time and money.
Thus, TOM makes an extraordinary weapon in your arsenal for optimizing the various stages of manufacturing and taking their performance to the next level.
TOM needs to be purchased along with Fiam transducer, one for each tool (except when TOM is connected to auto feed screwdriver CA or eTensil electric screwdriver).
