ELECTRIC NUTRUNNER MOTOR WITH TORQUE/ANGLE CURRENT CONTROL

Brushless electric nutrunner motor designed and built entirely by Fiam in Italy for automatic use on machines and for the needs of Industry 4.0 With modular construction for safe maintenance management. Built-in electronics.

To be combined with E‑TCS control unit, it ensures:

  • Each individual tightening system (nutrunner motor and control unit) can be programmed to perform different assemblies with different torque, speed, and other parameters, allowing it to be used for several applications

Specifically for use in industrial automation, because it is equipped with:

  • strong thrust bearings: they withstand the thrust of the sort of slides found in automated production cycles that move in rapid, non-stop strokes
  • ideal external geometries: they make machine mounting practical along the full length of the aluminium outer body
  • centring system: designed to achieve unbeatable reliability along both the vertical and horizontal axis.
  • guaranteed long-term gear efficiency: careful design, dimensioning and innovative processes ensure that the performance of the reduction unit is almost unchanged even after hundreds and hundreds of operating hours as certified by our laboratories

FEATURES

  • The tightening torque is detected by measuring the current absorbed by the motor, while the angle is detected through the integrated encoder (digital angle transducer).
  • Status LED to directly check the result of the tightening cycle on the motor.
  • Compact design, reduced dimensions and above all low weight make them ideal for installation on single or multiple tightening units and on robots.
  • ESD certified
  • This model is supplied without axial compensator.
  • Mounting flange included.
  • Connection cable to be ordered separately: various lengths available, also with 90° connector.
  • Available models with: off‑set device for close tightening center distances, axial compensator, modified flange and/or customized body design, angled head.

APPLICATIONS

  • To tighten any threaded element, in single or multi-spindle assembly units to assemble multiple elements at the same time. They can be controlled automatically and inserted into automated assembly lines, in rotary table machines, on fastening slides, on electronic axes to assemble on different planes or on versatile and always reconvertible anthropomorphic robots.
  • Industrial production environments where high quality and great production flexibility are required: the system adapts to the variability of production batches and therefore to the different types of screws to be used.
